Mario Kart 3DS contains everything that gamers have come to love from the series, from shooting shells to throwing banana peels all over the course. The courses this time around look even nicer than they did in Mario Kart DS, with locations ranging from Wuhu Island to Princess Peachs Castle. The improved lighting and 3D visuals add to each course as well, easily making this the prettiest looking handheld Mario Kart.
Not much is known about the actual gameplay, but Nintendo has promised that Mario Kart 3DS will take advantage of the Nintendo 3DSs new connectivity options, including ghost exchange data and expanded local and wireless multiplayer. Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection will also be used in Mario Kart 3DS, allowing players to race other gamers from every corner of the globe.
No specific release date has been announced for Mario Kart 3DS.
