Title: Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai Impressions

The singer isn't real, but the game is.

The Tokyo Game Show demo of Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai only allowed players to play only one song in the test play mode. I chose the first song in the trailer, Watashi no Zikan (My Time), at the middle difficulty. All I needed to do was simply to press or hold A or B button at a right time for a right duration. The difficulty appeared to change according to player's performance. Unfortunately, Miku's vocals were far too quiet, and thus barely audible; there seems to be an audio mixing problem. The song felt a little too long for a rhythm game.

Miku, out for a walk

As far as I could see, this game seems to be nothing more than a rhythm action game featuring Hatsune Miku. Whether you will like this game mainly would depend on how much you like the diva.

The circle at the bottom tells you what to press and when

Whether this game is released outside of Japan is yet to be determined.
