Me, too!  I'm stuck in the lab today doing busy-work coding.  This made my day!

@Sundoulos
I am trying to do stuff that isn't busywork and this will no doubt interfere!

How'd the bold/italic buttons get into the post like that?

Also, mild correction: Chris "Two Gamecubes Duct-Taped Together" Hecker was at EA/Maxis when he made the infamous comment at GDC '07. He was on the Spore team at the time.

Not sure how that happened, but we're still working the bugs out of the posting process, so that probably has something to do with it.

Maybe you should allow a lucky listener to guest host during 1 year anniversary show. :cool;

By the way your podcast helped me survive my 6 year old's niece birthday party. My ipod and you guys drowned out the clown and kids screaming. Thank You.  ;D

Re:  Soul of Darkness for DSiWare

The game's actually really good and I recommend it without reservations to anyone who likes 2D platformers.  It's undeniably a Castlevania rip-off, but it's an extremely competent one.  The physics are sometimes slightly janky--such as when your character is pushing objects across the screen--but overall it's lots of fun.

You also seem to get a pretty long game for your money.  It took me about an hour to beat the first 3 levels and according to the main menu I'm 33% complete.  Not bad for $5.

Zach, I read your review of the Tifa Action figure. I have to say that it was a good review of my favorite character of Final Fantasy 7.

Thanks, Kytim. I've got older figure reviews, too. Just click on the "Figure Review" tag at the bottom of the post. I'll be posting another one soon, another gaming girl.

I like the wonder woman figure too.

Just FYI regarding Tiger 11,

There is a Driving Range in the game.  It's just labeled weirdly as the "Club Tuner" in My Career and primarily serves that purpose, but it is a driving range as well.

That's great to know, brood. Thanks. I'll check that out tonight!

I get the impression that you don't think there's a distinction there.
