What? F-Zero in the ARCADE!? You know you're going to click here.
Well folks, you wanted Nintendo and Sega to work on something together, and now you're getting it.
Nintendo and Sega both announced today via a press release on NCL's website that Sega will be developing not one, but TWO new F-Zero games. One will be for GameCube, and one will be for the new Triforce arcade hardware. The arcade version, tentitively titled F-Zero AC, will use Nintendo GameCube memory cards, interacting in some way with the home version.
If you're curious as to which part of Sega is working on it, you'll be glad to hear that Amusement Vision is taking care of things. The makers of Super Monkey Ball and the Daytona series say they'll have both versions of the game ready in Japan by the end of the year.
Naturally, we'll most likely hear more about this at E3, which is now less than two months away. Keep it tuned here.
