RPGs to the left of me, cavemen to the right.
Hope you took last week off to sort through the backlog, because especially in North America it's another busy week. The 3DS, having not released an RPG for three months in North America which represents a lull this year, launched 7th Dragon III Code: VfD on Tuesday and will bring Monster Hunter Generations tomorrow (also at retail). On the Wii U, Neal is working through the 4 player mayhem of Tumblestone which is probably the biggest console game of the month.
We've previously mentioned it, but Virtual Console on Wii U is adding a new system today with three new games. R-Type is a classic horizontal shooter, while New Adventure Island and Bonk's Adventure represent the late 80s mascot platformer genre. 3DS, in addition to picking up Kemco's latest RPG, also gets Final Fight on the New 3DS VC.
There's a twin bill at retail for the 3DS in Europe as well, with Monster Hunter Generations joined by Disney Art Academy. Tumblestone also debuted across the pond, there's a Mega Man double shot on New 3DS, and Star Fox Zero / Guard both get demos if you have some questions about what that demo ad in Guard is all about.
