Players will no longer be limited to having just two active playable characters in Skylanders on 3DS in Skylanders: Swap Force.

The new title, developed by n-Space, lets players load up characters so they can bring basically their entire collection on the go. With the new Swap Force characters being able to be mixed together, it seemed to be nearly mandatory to do this switch.

To sync up your upgrades to your figures, it still might be a chore of connecting your 3DS to the Portal of Power and placing each figure on the portal to add the upgrades you accrued while playing as them.

Just like the previous entries, Skylanders: Swap Force will be its own experience, a side story in the world of Skylands.
