EB Games Australia has announced pre-order bonuses for both Super Mario 3D Land, and Mario Kart 7.

Super Mario 3D Land will be offered with a plush Tanooki hat, while Mario Kart 7 will offer pre-orderers a plush Mario hat. These products, however, are not officially licenced by Nintendo.

Super Mario 3D Land will be available on November 24, with Mario Kart 7 launching sometime in December.

I rather have that than the Tanooki suit keychain I'm getting with mine.  At least I can try to modify it to replace my Pooh in a Hamster suit that hung on my DS for years till my son got to it.

Ewww. That stuff is almost always cheap and nasty compared to the real thing. Not much of a bonus.

For Super Mario 3D Land I'd rather the key chain as well, (and I'd love if they did something similar with Mario Kart 7 also).

Tanooki Hat is awesome if it actually looks like the picture. I'll likely pre order both now.
