It’s Thursday and that means there are new games to buy on WiiWare, DSiWare, and the eShop. The sole WiiWare release is the shooter Horizon Riders from developer Sabarasa. Influenced by Sega’s Space Harrier, Horizon Riders features arcade-style gameplay and supports both the Wii Balance Board and Wii Zapper. The game retails for 800 Wii Points and a demo version is also available.

One new Virtual Console game has been added to the eShop and its Data East’s Side Pocket. This billiards title is a port of the arcade game of the same name and was originally released on Game Boy in 1990. The game is available now for $2.99.

DSiWare has received two new games this week. The first is House M.D. – Episode 3: Skulls and Bones. In the third installment, there are more mini-games to play as you try to help Dr. House save a new patient.  This medical-themed game, which can also be downloaded on the eShop, retails for $7.99.

The other new title for DSiWare game is Simply Minesweeper. The popular and addictive puzzle game is now available in portable form on the DSi and 3DS. The game can be yours for just $1.99.

The final download addition this week is an update for Pokédex 3D. This update includes the ability to pause the animation of different Pokémon and some new AR functionality. To download the update, simply boot up Pokédex 3D and click on the update button on the settings page.
