Maybe this is a good thing though, Sony and Nintendo coming together.

I think one thing the Wii had going for it that no one has recognized is that it is the sleekest of all systems. It has the blue light and the apple white. It's a pretty little system. And even the wiimote, is small and sleek, yet comfortable and stylish.

The ice cream cone of a controller maybe too stupid looking and might jar people from even holding it.

I know I'm a little leery of using a controller with a great glowing colored ball on the end... not so much because of aesthetics, but because it sounds horribly distracting.

[I'm annoyed enough by the stupid sometimes-blinking LED on the standard ps3 controller, even though it's very small and pretty much hidden most of the time!]
