It was honestly kind of forgettable. The most memorable aspect was the fact that they filmed some of it in Samoa, which kind of made it stand out. Also, Roman Reigns was in it?

Trailer was alright. I didn’t really like the first one. Also, not being part of the MCU does affect my interest in other Marvel related media. The interconnectedness is part of the fun for me.

I ran into this by accident Wikipedia leaping, but I remember reading David Sheff's Game Over and the chapters on Tetris were the most gripping chapters. The fact that the main character is Henk Rogers is perfect.

So the new Matrix 4 trailer dropped. Have mixed feelings about it all. Its missing Lawrence Fishburne and that is a huge miss for me. I don't care that he died in the crappy Matrix MMO, give us a cameo or just pretend that didn't happen. Especially when we got another black actor to play a different character that behaves similarly and dresses similarly and even offers him special colored pills just feels like an insult to the actor when he wasn't even asked to return.

Hugo Weaving I understand not having a bit more, but again, he should have a cameo or something.

Maybe its all a big twist surprise and they are in the film and just lying to keep the secret, and I'll be happy if that is the case, but will really be dismayed if there is no sign of them.

Also note that only one of the Waichowskis are on board with the film and typically when duos do projects separately things just don't go as well so that has me concerned.

Never mind that the trailer just feels like a repeat of story beats from the previous three films and I'm just feeling like this is an unnecessary sequel made to cash in on the high popularity of Keanu and a classic film series. I need to see a better justification for another to be made and nothing stands out to me just yet.

Check out the Gaming Historian's piece on Tetris on Youtube. It's an hour long, but worth it.

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it in this thread a long time ago, but one of my most anticipated series in a long time is about to start. Foundation is an adaptation of a series of sci-fi novels by Isaac Asimov, some of my favorite books ever. One of the first things ever announced for Apple TV+, well before it launched I've been excited but cautiously optimistic about this for years now.

The trailer's here, but it's trying to cover a lot of ground and I don't know how much it would make sense to someone unfamiliar with the source material.

The fact that most all of these are cast against type makes this more interesting. Key as Toad is genius. Although Charlie Day as Luigi seems on type. Though Charlie Day is an under-utilized actor. He could be anyone.
