Don't know where you're getting your information from, but 50 cent is worth about about half of Floyd with $140M, and the majority of that was from his sale of his shares in Vitamin Water.

And **** off, it's far from embarrassing, if anything it's commendable. Coming from an upbringing like his, I'm not surprised literacy was not at the forefront. I'm a qualified teacher and when I was studying we obviously learnt about literacy rates and literacy around the world. The stats for the US are pretty damning. It's something like 1 in for 5 children grow up without learning how to read and the US is one of the only developed countries in the world where the current generation is less educated than the previous one. Now that's embarrassing.

I keep trying to convince my wife this is why we need to have lots of kids now. That will help raise the literacy rate since we will make sure all of our children are literate and educated properly. We need to do it for America but she is very unpatriotic and unconcerned about the future generation tonight.

How is it far from embarrassing to have all the resources in the world to better yourself to a level of an 8th grader and just not give a **** because you are already rich?

He's not still reading at a 4th grade level because life dealt him a bad hand and now he's stuck with no means to better himself. He's just rich and don't give a ****, so take your hostilities elsewhere. There's a massive chance he's got a learning disability. Something like a severe case of dyslexia would easily explain it, not to mention how much that would be compounded by the brain damage he would have received after 30 years of boxing at an elite level. That's not just a problem you can throw millions of dollars at and be done with it.

That would be about all I knew as well if I shared a room with 7 people. I nearly went mad in college sharing a hour with 7 people so a room would be worse. I don't understand how some families can stand it. The value of their car in the driveway shows they could afford a better place if they wanted.

The whole situation is embarrassing on both sides to be honest.

I'm happy he found his way, I'm not knocking his success or his riches, but he hasn't been sharing a room with 7 people for a very long time.
and maybe taking too many punches to the head coupled with an undisclosed learning disability could be the problem, but I don't remember that being made known to anyone. So if that is the case, then this is all the more embarrassing and shameful on the attacking side moreso than the defending side.
