Get on the MIC/FLoor
« on: August 26, 2004, 04:58:33 PM »
The developer XS games announced they will be shipping two titles called Get on the Mic, and Get on the Floor.  These must be the gamecube's answer to Karoke and Dance Dance Revolution. I love this idea, though i cant sing or dance and i would have to move my gamecube to set up get on the floor (bed's in the way, to heavy to move) it would be cool to rent this for when my friends come over and stuff.  Has anyone heard a price on either of these? Get on the MIC proably uses the Mario Party 6 mic and a Dance pad has to be included with Get on the floor.

Dude, this rocks.  I've always thought these kinds of games rock, and I'm extremely happy to see the cube getting them.  Sing along games?  I'm all over that.

The only problem is get on the mic/floor is that it will be rap titles so if you dont like the genre you out of luck.

Dude, for me personally, rap along songs are better.  Your voice can be cracking, your voice can be hoarce, but if you got rythem, you can keep it going.  I love the fact that it is rap based.  At least initially.  I just hope they don't fill it with a ton of lame tunes that nobody listens to in the first place.

I would be fine with any sytle of music really *as long as its not country*, but having it be rap excites me.  We shall see.  *crosses fingers*

I'm hoping the dance title will do well, and finally convince Konami it's worthwhile to port over DDR to a Nintendo system... I mean, if they ported DDR to the freaking GAMEBOY, they can port a version to the Cube.

Don't worry, I'm sure whatever you wanted to say, Tecmo will deliver it in game form.
