Space World is Nintendo's big show in Japan; last year it was the place to unveil the GameCube to the public and Japanese press. This year, Nintendo is expected to have plenty of playable GameCube and GBA units, reveal 3rd party support & disclose more information on the NGC/GBA connection, and reveal online networking plans.

The Press Conference will be taking place on Thursday, August 23 at the "Big Sight" (Tokyo International Exhibition Center) in Tokyo. Official starting time is still to be determined. Entrance is by invitation only.

Space World 2001 will be open to the press on Friday, August 24 from 1:00pm - 5:00pm. Saturday, August 25 and Sunday August 26th Space World will be open to the Public from 9:00am and 4:00pm! Space World will be held once again at the Makuhari Messe Convention center in Chiba (near Tokyo).

Planet GameCube is planning on attending Space World 2001! But we are in dire need your help! Instead of selling Louie's plasma and blood, or hocking all of our games, we've decided to take donations through Pay Pal. We've never before asked for money for our coverage. We're not going to go the subscription route either. The internet has hit some serious rough times, and it has knocked us around pretty good. Japan isn't the cheapest country in the world as well.
